Established in 2004, with 242 students, the school is Affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi and is approved by the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain. Currenty, the school has over 2300 students from nine different Nationalities.
NMS is the only CBSE school in the Kingdom to adjudged ‘GOOD’ by the Quality Assurance Authority (BQA) of the Kingdom. The school has an excellent track record in X & XII Board Examinations, SAT,JEE,TIMSS,PIRLS,ACER and various Olympiads. The Alumni are placed in prominent Colleges / Universities all over the world including CALTECH, OXFORD, Stanford, UC Berkely, University of Toronto, Michigan, and many more.
Besides Academics, the school also offers a plethora of activities to hone the talents of the students. It has a Basketball Court, Football Fields (including Junior and Senior players), an Athletic Track, Cricket Practice Pitch, Badminton Courts, Long Jump Pit. There are many activities including Public Speaking, Dramatics, Art and Craft , movie making, Radio NMS, Commerce Kitchen, Self Scripted Assemblies, LS Wheel and many more.
Recently, the school has been awarded for the Best Digital Transformation in school Education. The Teaching – Learning process is child Centric, Holistic and activity based. It includes Flip Learning, Life Connect, Interdisciplinary Connect, Learning Outcome based Lesson Pans and Worksheets, Art Integration, STEAM and focus on 21st Century skills.
