He’s just another Ram-y-i

Last week I published the Golden Globes 2020 for our website, I wasn’t surprised of the winners, Joaquin Phoenix winning best actor, Brad Pitt winning best supporting actor and so on. Only one name that I stopped at, an Arabic name.

After looking at his picture I had no doubt that he is an Arab, a bearded curly hair that looks exactly like the Egyptian world class football star Mohamed Salah.

Went on Google and searched for his name, I typed Ramy Youssef, an actor who I have never heard of before, figured out that he is also an Egyptian, I’m not surprised at all, after the success of the Egyptian Oscar winning actor Rami Malek.

Ramy is an immigrant to the US, same like Rami, both Egyptians and both share the same name, except that the last letter is different, but it's written and pronounced the same in Arabic.

He won best actor for TV-series, musical or comedy category in his role for a series called ‘Ramy’ about an Arab-Muslim immigrant family living in New Jersey, a show that I advise you to watch for its deep true focus on how the Arab-Muslim community in the US are facing challenges when it comes to culture and lifestyle … Ramy struggles a lot, finding difficulties to be with someone who is like him, the series also focus on his family.

My question is, if these guys didn’t move to the US and stayed in their home country, would they be superstars?
