Dahab: An introvert's paradise

Dahab, located in Sinai, Egypt is one of the most splendid places I've ever been to. There's always something to do for every mood.

Dahab is known for its turquoise seas, rocky mountains, and diverse marine life. Whether you decide to go diving, snorkelling, or just chilling by the beach, you surely won't be disappointed.

What I enjoy the most about Dahab is the kindness of its people and the calmness and serenity its atmosphere provides. It's the perfect place to get away from the bustling city life and it gives you the chance to unwind and relax.

Dahab has many activities for people who seek adventure. There are opportunities for hiking, camel riding, stargazing, sea activities and more.

I have personally been to Dahab twice and I must admit, as an introvert, it's everything I've dreamt of.

I would usually go get a good cup of coffee, sit by the sea or in any cafe and just write or listen to music. Some cafes have live bands in the evening that play their own music or popular hits. My favourite breakfast place is Ralph's German Bakery. If you ever go, make sure to try out their desserts and pastries!

Another thing about Dahab is that it's very simple and the prices are reasonable.

The easiest way to get to Dahab is to take a flight to Sharm El Sheikh then a 3-hour ride by bus or car to Dahab. However, if you're heading from Cairo or Alexandria by bus, it might take up to 13 hours (with rest stops and checkpoints).

If you're ever visiting Egypt, make sure you give Dahab a chance.
