Supreme Council of Health (SCH) chairman and head of the National Team to Address Coronavirus (Covid-19) Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on Monday visited the examination centre at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center (BIECC), GDNonline reported tonight.
The BIECC was converted into an integrated centre for examining those suspected of being infected with the virus both inside the kingdom and also those from outside Bahrain. They will be subjected to complete medical procedures and according to the results of the laboratory tests, they will be transferred to isolation and treatment centres or to quarantine according to the World Health Organisation guidelines.
Dr Shaikh Mohammed hailed the continuous support of His Majesty King Hamad and also thanked His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa as well as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for all the efforts made to enhance the health and safety of all citizens and residents.
