More than BD15 million has been raised so far for the Feena Khair (There is Good in Us) national campaign, writes Raji Unnikrishnan on GDNonline.
The funds are going towards the government’s efforts to combat the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19).
Family businesses, legislators, banks, major corporate firms, hotel groups, telecom providers, universities, government shareholding companies and Bahraini citizens came forward today to generously donate to the online campaign.
The online drive was launched on Thursday by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), which also aims to mitigate the economic impact on individuals and businesses affected by the pandemic.
