The Health Ministry has registered 654 new cases of Covid-19, reports GDNOnline.
This is the highest daily tally recorded by Bahrain since the start of the outbreak.
Of these new cases, 314 are expatriate workers and 299 are contacts of active cases.
This takes the total number of active cases to 5,065, of which 69 cases are receiving treatment and 12 are in critical condition.
During the past 24 hours, the ministry has recorded 858 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 10,326.
