A woman bought duck eggs from a Waitrose supermarket in the UK and decided to incubate them- reported Reuters.
What happened after about a month was such a surprise….three adorable ducklings emerged.
The trio was named Beep, Peep and Meep. Although, I think Huey, Dewey and Louie would have worked out a la Disney’s DuckTales style.
The new duck mum, Charli Lello, 29, is planning on keeping the ducklings. She has called her time hatching the "the "cutest little balls of fluff" an amazing experience but said she would not be repeating it. Basically, she has the time to care for them now as she is currently furloughed. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be fair to them.
She had gotten the idea to incubate the eggs after watching a video of a woman incubating quail eggs. She decided to try it out with duck eggs from the supermarket.
