The Health Ministry has registered 406 new cases of Covid-19, out of the 7,589 tests carried out on Wednesday, reports GDNOnline.
Of these new cases, 216 are expatriate workers, 189 are contacts of active cases, and one is travel related.
This took the total number of active cases to 5,727, of which 5,700 are stable, with 131 cases are receiving treatment, and 27 are in critical condition.
There were 319 recoveries from Covid-19, increasing the total number of recoveries to 14,185.
