The Health Ministry has registered 469 new cases of Covid-19, out of the 8,699 tests carried out on Thursday, reports GDNOnline.
Of these new cases, 295 are expatriate workers, 171 are contacts of active cases, and three are travel related.
This took the total number of active cases to 5,679, of which 5,650 are stable, with 173 cases are receiving treatment, and 29 are in critical condition.
There were 511 recoveries from Covid-19, increasing the total number of recoveries to 14,696.
