The Bahrain Medical Society called for exempting doctors and medical health cadres, who were unable to renew their licenses since February 2020, from any financial penalties or fines until the pandemic is over.
Dr Ghada Al Qassim,the chairman of the society, said: "The doctors in particular and the medical and health cadres in general shoulder enormous burdens to combat the corona pandemic. They stand in the front lines with courage and dedication to reduce the dangers of this virus to the citizen and resident of Bahrain, so it is necessary for all of us to appreciate their challenging circumstances, and to thank them according to our capabilities.”
