Bahrain yesterday recorded 514 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 593 recoveries and two fatalities, reports GDNOnline.
A Bahraini woman, 66, and an expat man, 50, died, taking the total number of deaths due to the coronavirus to 128.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 514 new cases, 256 were expatriate workers, 257 contacts of local cases and one travel related.
It said an additional 593 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total number of recoveries to 32,965.
The ministry added that of the 3,843 active cases, 70 are receiving treatment and 46 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 36,936 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 735,492 tests.
