Bahrain yesterday recorded 462 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 414 recoveries and two fatalities, reports GDNOnline.
Two men, a Bahraini, 66 and an expat, 61, died, taking the total number of deaths due to the coronavirus to 136.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 462 new cases, 226 were expatriate workers, 225 contacts of local cases and 11 travel related.
It said an additional 414 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total number of recoveries to 34,826.
The ministry added that of the 3,496 active cases, 80 are receiving treatment and 48 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 38,458 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 771,500 tests.
