Bahrain yesterday recorded 462 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 344 recoveries and one fatality.
A 57-year-old Bahraini man died yesterday from Covid-19, taking the total number of deaths in Bahrain due to the coronavirus to 167.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 462 new cases, 154 were expatriate workers, 305 contacts of local cases and three travel related.
It said an additional 344 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 42,180.
Of the 3,379 active cases, 70 are receiving treatment and 40in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 45,726 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also be conducted 944,798 virus tests.
