The annual XXV International Ballet Festival of Miami (IBFM) hosts some of the most important ballet companies from Europe, Asia, Latin America and the US. However, due to Covid and theater closings, all of the festival’s performances will be virtually streamed and available for ballet lovers worldwide.
*From Aug 21 to Sept 10: IBFM presents “Support the Arts!” which is a fundraiser to assist the dance community due to cancellation of live performances. Companies from Argentina, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Italy, Philippines, Slovenia, Switzerland and the US present prerecorded full length performances. There will be 19 performances available A $10 access fee will give the audience 24 hours to watch a performance of their choice. All Funds raised during “Support the Arts!” will go directly to participating companies.

*On Sept 12 at 8pm EST / ETOILES CLASSICAL GALA- Dance stars from prestigious ballet companies perform the most famous classical and neo-classical ballet repertoire, featuring Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami, Houston Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet. Presentation of the “A Life for Dance” Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr Daniel Lewis, internationally-recognised dancer, teacher, choreographer and author.
*Sept 13 at 5pm EST / CLOSING GALA OF THE STARS- All participating companies performing a different programme.
