The NBA announced yesterday to postpone all three playoff games scheduled for the day after the Milwaukee Bucks refused to play their Game 5 against the Orlando Magic

The NBA announced yesterday that it chose to postpone all three play-off games scheduled for that day after the Milwaukee Bucks refused to play their Game 5 against the Orlando Magic. Other teams appeared likely to follow suit.

The NBA said in a statement: "The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association announced that in light of the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision to not take the floor today (Wednesday) for Game 5 against the Orlando Magic, today’s three games - Bucks vs. Magic, Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers - have been postponed. Game 5 of each series will be rescheduled."

The WNBA's three regular season games that were held on Wednesday were also postponed.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that every team, besides the Lakers and Clippers, voted to keep playing.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers both voted to end the NBA playoffs in a meeting among players after the announcement was made. Apparently, LeBron James initially planned to vote with the consensus, but got angry and stormed out of the meeting.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Wednesday’s player votes were not final and that discussions will continue through Thursday.
