Mango works with Sofía Sanchez de Betak

Sofía Sanchez de Betak will be periodically selecting her favourite sustainable outfits in support of Mango's work towards sustainability.

Chufy, as she is known on social media, will demonstrate that style is not incompatible with sustainability.

In these monthly series, that can be seen both on Mango's website and on the its various social media platforms, Chufy will explain the characteristics of selected clothes creating environmental awareness and spreading the right information on fabrics.

Mango is a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and the Fashion Pact and the commitments established for its sustainable collection are to use 100 per cent sustainable cotton and 50pc recycled polyester by 2025.

In addition, by 2030, 100pc of cellulose fibres used will be of controlled origin, in order to guarantee their traceability. These targets are part of the Take Action programme, which, alongside other initiatives, will help make the fashion industry more sustainable.
