Bahrain yesterday recorded 661 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 294 recoveries and one fatality, reports GDNOnline.
A 64-year-old Bahraini woman died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 200.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 661 new cases, 78 were expatriate workers, 579 contacts of local cases and four travel-related. It said an additional 294 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 51,240.
The ministry added that of the 4,636 active cases, 82 were receiving treatment and 31 in critical condition. Bahrain has so far registered a total of 56,076 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,183,388 tests for Covid-19.
