MANAMA: Bahrain yesterday registered 713 new cases, alongside 676 recoveries and three fatalities. Two Bahraini women, aged 76 and 60, and an 80-year-old Bahraini man died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 224, reports GDNOnline.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 713 new cases, 146 were expatriate workers, 563 contacts of local cases and four travel-related. It said an additional 676 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 58,626.
The ministry added that of the 6,902 active cases, 148 were receiving treatment and 52 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 65,752 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths. The kingdom has also conducted 1,344,713 tests for Covid-19.
