Bahrain yesterday registered 650 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 741 recoveries and three fatalities. Three Bahraini men, aged 83, 67 and 40, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 227, reports GDNOnline.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 650 new cases, 145 were expatriate workers, 497 contacts of local cases and eight travel-related.
It said an additional 741 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 59,367.
The ministry added that of the 6,808 active cases, 131 were receiving treatment and 50 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 66,402 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths. The kingdom has also conducted 1,355,399 tests.
