Bahrain yesterday registered 490 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 443 recoveries and two fatalities, reports GDNOnline.
A 82-year-old Bahraini woman and an expat man, 43, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 264.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 490 new cases, 142 were expat workers, 340 contacts of local cases and eight travel-related.
It said an additional 443 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 69,854.
The ministry added that of the 4,304 active cases, 100 were receiving treatment and 64 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 74,422 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,519,596 virus tests.
