
Bahrain’s death toll from Covid-19 reached 300 yesterday with seven fatalities, alongside 331 new cases and 479 recoveries.
Four Bahraini women – aged 51, 31, 74 and 96 – and three men, two Bahrainis, 61 and 80, and an expat, 75, died yesterday.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 331 new cases, 112 were expatriate workers, 213 contacts of local cases and six travel-related.
It said an additional 479 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 74,320.
Of the 3,282 active cases, 77 were receiving treatment and 39 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 77,902 cases and has conducted 1,617,632 virus tests.
