Bahrain yesterday registered 309 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 406 recoveries and three fatalities.
An 87-year-old Bahraini man and two Bahraini women, both aged 78, died yesterday taking the toll to 305.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 309 new cases, 84 were expatriate workers, 217 contacts of local cases and eight travel-related.
It said an additional 406 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 75,089. Of the 3,139 active cases, 65 were receiving treatment and 31 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 78,533 cases and has conducted 1,638,436 virus tests.
