Three top medics and National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus members received the Covid-19 vaccine at a virtual Press conference today.
Health Ministry Under-Secretary Dr Waleed Al Manea, National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (Covid-19) monitoring committee head Lt. Col. Dr. Manaf Al Qahtani, Salmaniya Medical Complex Consultant of Infectious and Internal Diseases Dr Jameela Al Salman were administered the shot.
The GDN yesterday reported that Bahrain has granted emergency approval for use of the vaccine on frontline workers who wished to receive it.
