Entitled 'Belmonde', the collection is inspired by the charisma and magnetic persona of famed French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo as well as a subtle word play on "Bel Monde" borrowed from the French term “Beau Monde” – translated literally into “Beautiful World”.
This season’s collection boasts a variety of daring looks, comprised of the brand's signature intricate hand-cut leather, kaleidoscopic 70s print, delicate embroidered floral tulle, antenna cockerel feather chubbies, accentuated by modernist perplex chain belts, necklaces and anklets .
The Spring / Summer 2021’s looks are a love letter to monochromatic dressing, with matching ensembles paired with color coded accessories. But it is also a story of contrasts – outerwear worn with panache, dark sleek trench coats paired with bright thigh-high burnt orange boots, provoking sculpted leather bustier tops assorted to graceful tulle.
Primary hues, paired with provocative sartorial flair make for an enduring summer – exuberant intrigue, intoxicating romance, requiring an absurdly chic and fast sportscar, a must have for any passionate affair of the heart.
