Bahrain yesterday registered 162 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 135 recoveries.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the new cases, 79 were expatriate workers, 75 contacts of local cases and eight travel-related.
It said an additional 135 people recovered, taking the total to 85,598. Of the 1,493 active cases, 21 were receiving treatment and 12 in critical condition. Bahrain has so far registered 87,432 cases and conducted 2,088,613 tests.
