Bahrain yesterday recorded 178 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 157 recoveries, reports GDNOnline.
The Health Ministry said of the new cases, 110 were expat workers, 58 contacts of local cases and 10 travel-related. It said an additional 157 people recovered, taking the total to 87,182.
Of the 1,613 active cases, 19 are receiving treatment and seven are in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 89,143 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths. It has also conducted 2,191,887 tests.
