Teachers from a private school in Bahrain put their best strokes to the test to support migrant workers with a wet and dry rowing competition, reports Ghazi Alshehabi.
More than 30 St Christopher’s School staff members took part in a virtual and actual festive rowing challenge around the island.
They were tasked with covering a distance of 161km and the two-strong teams were given three weeks to complete the task.
The school’s director of sport and head of physical education Rob Subbiani told the GDN that the idea was to help colleagues keep fit during the pandemic.
