Bahrain yesterday recorded 253 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 137 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 121 were expat workers, 115 contacts of local cases and 17 travel-related.
An additional 137 people recovered, taking the total to 88,963.
Of the 1,757 active cases, 38 are receiving treatment and 13 are in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 91,070 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths. The kingdom has also conducted 2,300,729 tests for Covid-19.
