MANAMA: Passenger traffic on King Fahad Causeway resumed yesterday at 11am, the King Fahad Causeway Authority has announced, reports GDNOnline.
The 25km-long bridge, one of the busiest land border crossings in the Middle East, was shut on March 7 as part of measures to fight the spread of Covid-19.
The reopening, expected on January 1, was delayed following a Saudi decision to impose new travel restrictions related to the spread of a new variant of the coronavirus.
