Bahrain registers two Covid-19 deaths


The Health Ministry has announced the deaths of two Bahraini men, 92 and 67, due to Covid-19 today, reports GDNOnline.

This takes the total number of fatalities to 420 in the kingdom.

The ministry has expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.

Bahrain yesterday registered 777 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 704 recoveries and four fatalities.

Three men, a Bahraini aged 87, and two expats, 51 and 43 as well as an expat woman, 62, died yesterday.

Of the new cases, 279 were expat workers, 481 contacts of active cases and 17 travel-related.

An additional 704 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 108,353.

Of the 7,711 active cases, 148 are receiving treatment and 58 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 116,482 cases.

The kingdom has also conducted 2,968,423 tests for Covid-19.
