The Health Ministry has announced two deaths, a 56-year-old expatriate man and a 32-year-old expatriate woman from Covid-19 today, reports GDNOnline.
Earlier today, the ministry announced the death of a 50-year-old Bahraini man from Covid-19.
This takes today’s tally to three and the total number of fatalities in the kingdom to 452.
The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
Covid-19 Stats
Bahrain yesterday registered 617 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 617 recoveries and five fatalities.
Three Bahraini men, 69, 81 and 70 and two Bahraini women, 79 and 81, died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 449.
Of the new cases, 229 were expat workers, 374 contacts of active cases and 14 travel-related.
An additional 617 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 115,089. Of the 6,853 active cases, 110 are receiving treatment and 64 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 122,394 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 3,092,326 tests.
