Named Mother Earth, the collection has been launched just in time for global Earth Hour on March 27, 2021.
Designed and handcrafted in BEHNOODE’s studio in Milano, the line is shaped by the brand's philosophy of "spreading positive energy one suit at a time", infused with inspiration from nature.
It features organic silk and cotton with distinctive woven geometric patterns, and organic illustrations interwoven with monochromatic damask with hues of blue, brown, green, gray and nude.
Behnood Javaherpour, founder and creative director at BEHNOODE, said: “The issue of the climate crisis is a pressing one in the fashion industry, and I want to start a revolution among my regional designer peers to rethink everything from their designs to their production processes. This new collection is my first step in changing the game in the luxury fashion scene in the Middle East. Nature, and how to best protect it, is on top of my agenda.”
Behnood aded that he channels his Middle Eastern roots through elaborated prints, complex patterns, vibrant colours and natural elementst in his full range.
