Bahrain yesterday registered 816 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 477 recoveries and five deaths, reports GDNOnline.
Two men, a Bahraini, 42 and an expatriate 36, and three Bahraini women, aged 66, 65 and 59, died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 498.
Of the new cases, 294 were expat workers, 497 contacts of active cases and 25 travel-related.
An additional 477 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 127,806. Of the 7,022 active cases, 127 are receiving treatment and 59 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 135,326 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 3,398,760 tests.
