The number of daily Covid-19 cases in Bahrain hit 1,522, alongside 2,743 recoveries and 24 fatalities.
Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,143.
The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 691 were expat workers, 829 contacts of local cases and two travel-related.
An additional 2,743 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 231,113.
Of the 20,344 active cases, 424 are receiving treatment and 332 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 252,600 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 4,742,989 virus tests.
