The number of daily Covid-19 cases in Bahrain hit 1,279 alongside 2,367 recoveries and 18 fatalities.
Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,161
The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 551 were expat workers, 727 contacts of local cases and one travel-related.
An additional 2,367 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 233,480.
Of the 19,238 active cases, 452 are receiving treatment and 335 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 253,879 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 4,755,524 virus tests.
