Bahrain yesterday recorded 1,041 new Covid-19 cases alongside 2,821 recoveries and 10 fatalities.
Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,171.
The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 482 were expat workers, 557 contacts of local cases and two travel-related.
An additional 2,821 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 236,301. Of the 17,448 active cases, 417 are receiving treatment and 316 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 254,920 cases.
