Bahrain yesterday recorded 1,034 new Covid-19 cases alongside 2,239 recoveries and 17 fatalities.
Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,188.
The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 480 were expat workers, 550 contacts of local cases and four travel-related.
An additional 2,239 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 238,540.
Of the 16,226 active cases, 424 are receiving treatment and 300 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 255,954 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 4,780,224 virus tests.
