Bahrain yesterday recorded 148 new Covid-19 cases alongside 453 recoveries and one fatality.
Yesterday’s death brings the total fatalities to 1,353.
The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 81 were expat workers, 57 contacts of local cases and 10 travel-related.
An additional 453 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 261,740. Of the 2,882 active cases, 42 are receiving treatment and 85 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 265,827 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 5,052,499 virus tests.
