More than one million people in Bahrain have been inoculated with two doses of various types of Covid-19 vaccines, making up 80 per cent of the eligible population, the Health Ministry has announced, reports GDNOnline.
It said 1,074,175 people have received their first dose and 1,000,567 their second.
Such achievement reflects Bahrain’s keenness to protect individuals’ health and safety and provide the best health practices and ensure the highest standards of social immunity are applied, the ministry added.
The national efforts to limit the spread of the virus are ongoing, bringing the capacity of vaccination doses to 31,000 daily through 31 centres across the country.
