
Bahrain has emerged as a regional hub for electronic games and information and communication technology (ICT) while constantly seeking to diversify its economy away from oil, reports GDNOnline.
Youth and Sports Affairs Ministry’s Assistant Under-Secretary for Support and Initiatives Sarah Ishaq Hassan said, “The focus on nurturing start-ups, advanced technology regulations and smart public-private partnerships with global digital infrastructure providers have created a highly supportive and connected environment that allows game developers to thrive and test their potential.”
