The National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus yesterday announced that members of the Health Ministry’s Vaccination Committee have agreed to authorise the use of a booster dose for those aged 18 years and above six months after receiving their second dose of the Sputnik V vaccine.
Eligible individuals can choose between a Sputnik V or Pfizer-BioNTech booster dose, making Bahrain the first globally to provide a booster dose for those who have received the Sputnik V vaccine.
Eligible individuals can register by visiting the ministry’s website on healthalert.gov.bh, or via the BeAware application.
