All medical services being provided at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre will be transferred to Bahrain International Hospital and Sitra Mall starting today, it was announced last night.
The Health Ministry said that primary and secondary healthcare services for existing coronavirus (Covid-19) patients who are subject to home isolation will be transferred to Bahrain International Hospital, while vaccinations will be transferred to the Sitra Mall.
Bahrain International Hospital has been equipped with all the necessary medical equipment to treat and follow up existing cases that vary between mild and moderate severity.
The hospital will include an outpatient department and a short stay department as well. Vaccination services will also continue in health centres on a daily basis until the desired goals of the vaccination campaign are reached and community immunity is achieved.
