A senior member of the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (Covid-19) yesterday (Sep 21) posted a photograph of an empty hall at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC), which invited interest on social media.
Taskforce monitoring committee head Lieutenant Colonel Dr Manaf Al Qahtani also remarked on his Twitter post lauding the national iconic building which he said emerged “historic” by adapting to the crisis in a comprehensive manner, catering to all services as an integrated Covid-19 centre.
