His Majesty King Hamad today issued Royal Order 35 /21 to convene the fourth session of the fifth legislative term of the National Assembly, Parliament and the Shura Council on Sunday (Oct 10).
Both the chambers will be coming from a five-month recess for the final session of the four-year period.
The GDN has also learnt that a high-profile meeting between legislators and the government will be held on Wednesday (October 6) to prioritise legislations for the final session.
Parliament and municipal elections are set to be held next year.
