Bahrain is ready to launch its first satellite project.
The launch date for satellite, 3U CubeSat, is set to be revealed before the year's end.
National Space Science Agency (NSSA) chief executive Dr Mohammed Al Aseeri said details on the launch could probably be unveiled during National Day celebrations in December.
"We have started constructing the satellite and we are aiming to make the announcement on the launch during National Day celebrations," he added,
Dr Al Aseeri was speaking in a Zoom meeting today to announce partnership details with The UAE in the field of investments in the space sector.
