Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Arabian Peninsula Daniel Benaim has praised the important role of Bahrain in the evacuations from Afghanistan, reports GDNOnline.
In a video posted by the US Embassy on its Twitter account, he said that he had in-depth meetings with the Foreign Ministry in Bahrain to discuss how to build on the success of the Abraham Accords. “We talked about Iran and a wide range of issues affecting the region and our security,” he said.
He also described the US relationship with Bahrain as very important.
