An urgent proposal to open up the market for insurance companies to provide policies for housemaids has been presented by MPs today.
The proposal, which will be debated during Parliament’s session tomorrow, has been presented by five MPs led by Parliament public utilities and environment affairs committee chairman Khalid Bu Onk.
An option has been available since August thanks to a Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) initiative through one insurance company.
