Bahrain and Jordan have pledged to stand united in their fight against the scourge of terrorism.
His Majesty King Hamad held talks with King Abdullah of Jordan, at Sakhir Palace yesterday.
They affirmed their countries’ solidarity and joint efforts in fighting terrorism and safeguarding security.
His Majesty thanked King Abdullah for Jordan’s supportive stance towards Bahrain in combating terrorism and extremism.
The leaders expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral trade exchange, as well as the advanced level of economic and commercial relations.
They underlined the importance of enhancing co-operation to combat the coronavirus pandemic and curb its spread.
The King thanked Jordan for the facilities it had provided to the Bahraini Embassy in Amman to ensure easy procedures for Bahraini citizens and students while returning home.
He commended the contributions of the Jordanian community to Bahrain’s development process across various fields.
