Police patrols will be stepped up across the country to ensure the smooth flow of traffic as part of the 50th National Day celebrations.
General Directorate of Traffic director general Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa urged members of the public to adhere to all traffic rules.
He said that relevant measures were being taken to cover the key highways and intersections likely to witness heavy traffic flows as a result of activities planned.
