CUISINE queen Tala Bashmi has been recognised as the best female chef in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region.
The Bahraini, who leads the team at Fusions by Tala at the Gulf Hotel, Convention and Spa, has been named the winner of the Middle East and North Africa’s Best Female Chef Award 2022.
“It is an absolute honour to be awarded with the first Best Female Chef Award as part of the inaugural Mena’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022,” Ms Bashmi, 33, said.
